Albert Marcantonio, O.D.
Dr. Albert Marcantonio received a degree of "Doctor of Optometry" from Inter-American University and has been practicing since 2003 at our Smithtown office.

Meet Dr. Albert Marcantoni
Albert Marcantonio, OD is a North Babylon High School Graduate of 1979. In 1983 he graduated from Sullivan County Community College with a Major in Hotel Management and Minor in Culinary Arts. Not being fully satisfied in this field, and his desire for knowledge in science and health care, made him look more toward his future. Albert was accepted into Stony Brook University (S.U.N.Y), and Graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology along with the necessary prerequisites for his future endeavors.
Albert was accepted into The Inter-American University (IAU) School of Optometry, and rotated his first 6 months in Puerto Rico and finished his last 6 months in New York at the Long Island Eye Surgical Care P.C. In 2003 he graduated from Inter-American University receiving a degree of “Doctor of Optometry”.
After graduation, Albert joined the eye doctors at the Long Island Eye Surgical Care, P.C. During this time of employment he trained under various specialists in Optometry/Ophthalmology such as; Glaucoma, Retina, Cornea and Oculoplastics until completing and passing all of the National Boards, along with his Therapeutics License in New York.
Presently, Albert is an employee of North Shore Eye Care seeing patients, many of which involve post operative care and treatment. The eye doctor also has his own practice A & H Optometry Care P.C. located in Riverhead.
