Amy Cavallo, M.A., CCC-A is a New York state-licensed audiologist affiliated with several professional speech and hearing organizations. Currently she sees patients at our Riverhead office.
Amy Cavallo, M.A., CCC-A is a NY State licensed audiologist. She has extensive clinical experience in providing audiological services and research for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and special needs populations.
She has served as a Professor Assistant at St. John's University in post-graduate studies, Research Audiologist at Lexington School for the Deaf, and Educational Audiologist at Nassau BOCES School. She is also affiliated with several professional organizations including the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), Long Island Speech and Hearing Association (LISHA), and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Mrs. Cavallo also attains current professional certifications including the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology and NY State Hearing Aid Dispensing Licensure.
As an individual who has struggled with hearing impairment all of her adult life, Mrs. Cavallo personally understands how to manage and cope with the obstacles a person with hearing loss must face, as well as the importance of obtaining the optimal hearing a patient can achieve. She works intimately with the clients she serves, and understands that the support of a patient's loved ones is an integral part of the rehabilitation process.
