Great place for children. Very accommodating and the doctor was great as well as the staff.
Dr. Paul Sforza (Ophthalmologist) at SightMD in Little Neck... A friend recommended Dr. Sforza to me, and it was a fantastic recommendation. Of course it's easy to write a good review when you had a good exam, but also what I liked is the not only is Dr. Sforza very nice and personable, he explains what is going on as he does the exam and his staff are all very nice and professional too. The lady at the front desk was so courteous and helpful on check in, the vision assistants were equally personable. Sometimes you have a great doctor but the office staff are not, in this case I was really happy with everyone.
I'm blind...so I love this place
This is my second visit with Dr. Faye Knoll. I had been seeing another Dr. for two months and just felt I needed to see a new Doctor. Dr. Knoll had a great bed side manner. She listens to you and addresses your concerns without making you feel like you shouldnt be asking questions. She spends some time with you so you dont feel after 5 mins your time is up & I must move on.. I finally feel at peace with my eye condition and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Dr. Knoll makes it clear that if there are any changes with my eyes that I should call her! The other Dr. never stated that and you could never reach a person at his office. Also, the staff are not the friendliest. The staff at Sight MD have all been very helpful and always available! I have not needed to reach out to Dr. Knoll through the call center as of yet but Im hoping that if I ever do, I will have success. My other Dr. had me on a medication for two months that I should have only been on for two weeks! And he was going to keep me on the medication & add a steroid. I am so HAPPY I found Dr. Knoll! I wish I found her two months ago.. I probably would have been Ok by now, if I did! I highly recommend Dr. knoll and she now has two new patients me and my husband. Thank You Dr. Knoll and please dont change.. You are a asset to the world of Opthalmology !
I've never felt compelled to review a doctor before, but I wanted to leave a review for this office because I had, hands down, one of the most pleasant experiences here last week.A few months ago, I developed a stye that left me with an unsightly chalazion under my eyelid...essentially a chickpea-sized lump. After consulting with my PCP, she referred me to a DIFFERENT doctor, across the street from SightMD (no names taken).I ended up meeting with a doctor who was so unprofessional--rude, horrifying bedside manners, arrogant, inquiring about my personal life, pedigree, marital status, and asked me out to dinner while I was clearly distraught about my eye condition and there for HIS MEDICAL HELP, all the while screaming at his staff and cursing at the nurse. It was so awkward and disgusting, I had to walk out mid-appointment. Later that evening, when I googled said doctor, I found numerous accounts of his mannerisms, and learned that he used to be a social media "star." (Millionaire Matchmaker)The next day, I hesitantly walked into SightMD, after noticing they had several openings on ZocDoc. At this point, I was petrified about meeting another doctor, and really just looking to get the appointment over with as soon as possible. However, everyone from the front desk staff, to the PAs, to Dr. Savetsky, himself, were kind, welcoming, professional, and all around great to interact with. My appointment started right on time. I probably asked Dr. Savetsky a thousand questions, and he patiently answered them all with a smile, offered me a few different treatment options, and even called an ocuplastic surgeon during our appointment to help me decide which course of treatment I'd like to choose. I eventually went for a steroid injection in the office the same day, hoping it would resolve the chalazion. While the injection was extremely painful, the doctor made sure the entire process was seamless, and asked me to follow up with him in a month. Today, I woke up and noticed my eye is pretty close to normal again, and I'm just super happy I opted for SightMD. Thank you for going above and beyond!
