Emily Moriarty, MD is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma. She practices comprehensive ophthalmology with an emphasis on the management of glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disease.
After graduating from Penn State University, she completed a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland before earning her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she served as class president. Dr. Moriarty then completed her residency in ophthalmology at Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center. After several years in a busy private practice, Dr. Moriarty re-entered training and completed a fellowship in glaucoma at Mount Sinai University Hospital.
Dr. Moriarty is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Glaucoma Society and the New York Glaucoma Society. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai Hospital and enjoys teaching the next generation of ophthalmologists.
