Dr. Jing Grace Wang is a uniquely qualified ophthalmologist with diverse experience in the latest medical and surgical treatments of both glaucoma management and cataract surgery. Prior to becoming an ophthalmologist, Dr. Wang was a research scientist who earned her Ph.D. degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas (UTSW), where she earned numerous awards and cross-trained in several areas of biomedical sciences.
Dr. Wang’s passion for medicine began during her postdoctoral training at UTSW. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed a transitional year internship at Mercy Health System in Darby, Pennsylvania and received her ophthalmology residency training at BronxCare Health System, where she served as chief resident in her senior year.
Dr. Wang completed her fellowship training in glaucoma with Dr. Mark Latina, MD at Advanced Glaucoma Specialists and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, Massachusetts. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and an active member of the American Academy. Dr. Wang is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
