Dr. Edward Osborn is a highly skilled ophthalmologist and eye surgeon who's been serving the Torrington community for over 40 years. After a year of general medical internship, he enlisted in the U.S. Public Health Service where he served Native Americas (mainly Navajo and Hopi Indians) in Winslow, Arizona. It was in Arizona where Dr. Osborn developed an interest in ophthalmology after seeing many patients blinded from ocular trachoma.

Dr. Osborn has four children and five grandchildren. He enjoys many outdoor activities such as kayaking and he is a world traveler who enjoys high altitude trekking.
