Bio

James R. Gordon, M.D. is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Oculofacial Surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He has particular expertise in the handling of challenging and complex cases. He has published numerous papers and has given extensive lectures on ocular disease and eyelids and facial cosmetic procedures, including innovative techniques for fillers & injectables.

Dr. Gordon is a pioneer in the research and development of the LightPod Era – the world’s first portable erbium laser for skin resurfacing. As a certified trainer in this laser, Dr. Gordon is instrumental in the training of many physicians throughout the country.

When joining his father’s practice, Dr. Gordon’s father told him to “treat every patient as if they were your mother.” This advice has served him well for his career and has earned Dr. Gordon prestigious titles like Castle Connolly Top Doctor & Westchester Top Doctor for 10 Consecutive Years, New York Magazine Best Doctors, Most Compassionate Doctor, Patients’ Choice Award, and many more.
