Bio

A’sha M. Brown, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina and uveitis. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while providing advanced medical management for complex retinal conditions.

Dr. Brown treats a wide range of retinal and inflammatory eye diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein and artery occlusions, cystoid macular edema, retinal tears and holes, and iridocyclitis. She performs specialized procedures such as intravitreal injections, laser retinopexy, and panretinal photocoagulation to preserve and improve vision. Her approach combines the latest clinical techniques with a strong commitment to community health and individualized patient care.

Dr. Brown earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine at SUNY Stony Brook Hospital and went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in medical retina and uveitis at Emory University’s Emory Eye Center.

Since beginning her practice in 2018, Dr. Brown has remained actively engaged in the ophthalmic community. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology.
