SightMD Welcomes Jenna Farmer, OD to the Lewisburg, Pennsylvania Office
December 2025 – HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.— SightMD is pleased to announce the addition of Jenna Farmer, OD, a highly skilled and patient-focused optometrist who will be seeing patients at the SightMD Lewisburg location. Dr. Farmer brings a strong foundation in ocular disease management, comprehensive vision care, and a deep commitment to serving the community where she grew up.
Dr. Farmer earned her Doctor of Optometry degree through the Pennsylvania College of Optometry Accelerated Scholars Program at Drexel University’s Elkins Park Campus. She graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honors Society, recognizing her exceptional academic performance. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Biochemistry from Bucknell University, where she was actively involved in scientific research and earned multiple academic and athletic honors as a Division I track and field and cross-country athlete.
Board certified in the therapeutic management of ocular disease, Dr. Farmer has extensive clinical training in contact lens fittings, pediatric eye care, and the diagnosis of ocular manifestations of systemic health conditions. Her hands-on experience includes managing advanced dry eye disease, glaucoma, and retinal disease co-management, in addition to routine and specialty vision care. She remains an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, reflecting her commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in patient care.
A proud graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and Bucknell University, Dr. Farmer is honored to bring her expertise back to her hometown community. She is dedicated to fostering long-term relationships with her patients and providing the highest standard of individualized, compassionate eye care.
