Brian Berliner, OD | Comprehensive Optometrist in Bethpage, NY

Brian Berliner, OD is a board certified optometrists who has been practicing and providing eye care since 1983. He graduated from the first optometry school in the United States, the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, and completed a one year post doctorate residency at both the State University of New York College of Optometry and the Northport Veterans Administration Medical Center in Rehabilitative Optometry.

Dr. Berliner’s special interests are in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases including strabismus (misaligned or crossed eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), acquired brain injury (TBI), low vision, vision therapy, accommodative and convergence dysfunctions and visually related learning/perceptual disabilities.

Dr. Berliner is uniquely trained and passionate about providing comprehensive eye care to the people in his community. He is a member of both the American and New York State Optometric Associations. In his spare time, Dr. Berliner enjoys traveling, swimming and his hobby of magic.
