Dr. Karl earned his medical degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he also completed his ophthalmology residency. He went on to complete specialized fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery, gaining advanced expertise in treating sight-threatening retinal conditions.
