In addition to his retina specialty, Dr. Gelnick also performs cataract surgery, offering patients comprehensive ophthalmic care under one roof.

Dr. Gelnick earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Yeshiva University in New York City, where he gained a deep understanding of human behavior and the importance of patient-centered care. He recognizes that patients come with concerns, expectations, and unique histories, and that understanding the full picture leads to better diagnosis, treatment, and long-term outcomes. He works collaboratively with each patient and their support system, creating a team-based approach to care. Known for his clear communication and compassionate demeanor, Dr. Gelnick empowers patients by providing education and guidance every step of the way.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Gelnick believes strongly in being available for his community, whether it’s providing care during emergencies or supporting individuals outside of office hours. He considers this commitment a vital part of being not just a physician, but a neighbor and advocate.

A fun fact about Dr. Gelnick: His favorite way to unwind is spending time with his family—whether that’s exploring the outdoors, enjoying a shared meal, or simply being together.
