Dr. Yu Hang Chen is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist committed to providing exceptional eye care to patients of all ages. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Suny College of Optometry, where he developed a strong foundation in optometric principles and practices. With a passion for promoting optimal eye health, Dr. Chen specializes in performing comprehensive eye exams for patients aged 5 and above. His patient-centered approach ensures thorough evaluations, focusing on both vision correction and the early detection of ocular conditions. Dr. Chen believes in building lasting relationships with his patients and is dedicated to ensuring their visual well-being. In addition to routine eye exams, Dr. Chen possesses expertise in post-operative care for various eye surgeries, including cataract, refractive, and corneal transplant procedures. His commitment to continued education allows him to stay abreast of the latest advancements in eye care, ensuring that his patients receive the highest standard of post-surgical attention and support. A dedicated professional, Dr. Chen served as a Captain in the US Army, providing vital eye care services to a population of 8 thousand US soldiers, Veterans, and their family members during his active duty service from 2020 to 2023.
