Distributed by Republican Herald, the Reader’s Choice award is determined by the public who nominate their favorite area businesses in 186 categories! The TOP 5 businesses in each category will then move on to the voting round where the public votes. The businesses with the most votes in each category will be named a Readers’ Choice Award Winner and will be recognized as the best of the best!

During the nomination period nominators are asked to submit their favorite local businesses. From that group the top 5 nominees are selected to the ballot, and people may cast their votes daily during the voting period from the end of March through April.
