Dr. Nazanin Barzideh is a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon, focusing on treatment of various retinal conditions. Dr. Barzideh was the Chief of vireoretinal surgery at NYU Winthrop Hospital.
Dr. Nazanin Barzideh is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has been practicing in Mineola since 2011. She is a voluntary attending at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai and NYU Langone over the last several years. Dr. Barzideh has been educating residents and medical students throughout her career. She earned her undergraduate B.S. degree in Neuroscience and B.A. degree in Religion with Honors from University of Rochester prior to attending SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse medical school.
Dr. Barzideh completed her Internship at Westchester Medical Center and her ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she served as a chief resident in her final year. She completed her vitreoretinal fellowship at National Retina Institute in Maryland. Dr. Barzideh has been an investigator in many clinical trials for treatment of various retinal conditions over the last decade.
