Dr. John C. Nichols is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience specializing in advanced cataract surgery and glaucoma care. He performs a high volume of cataract procedures each week, with a particular focus on premium intraocular lens implantation, including toric lenses for astigmatism correction and presbyopic lenses to reduce dependence on reading glasses.
In addition to cataract surgery, Dr. Nichols is skilled in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). He regularly performs procedures such as iStent, Hydrus, and goniotomy.
His broad clinical expertise includes the management of diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, and minor ocular trauma. Dr. Nichols is known for his meticulous surgical technique and compassionate, patient-centered approach.
