Dr. Meredith Prevor-Weiss is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20+ years of experience, specializing in cataract surgery and the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. She provides comprehensive eye care at SightMD locations in Harrison and New Rochelle, serving patients throughout Westchester County.

Dr. Prevor-Weiss has been in practice since 2005 and is highly experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. Her clinical focus includes modern cataract surgery, as well as long-term glaucoma management, helping patients preserve vision through early detection, monitoring, and advanced treatment options.

She performs a variety of procedures including cataract surgery, YAG laser capsulotomy, glaucoma surgery, and laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI), offering both medical and surgical solutions tailored to each patient’s condition and stage of disease.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Arts from New York University before completing her Doctor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine. She went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College, following an internal medicine internship at Columbia University Medical Center.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Prevor-Weiss is an avid tennis player and fun. She has volunteered with Tennis Serving Vets, an organization dedicated to helping teach U.S. veterans how to play tennis. She also enjoys drawing and painting in her free time.
