What to Expect at Your First Eye Care Visit
Preparing for your initial consultation at our practice is easy. Our convenient online patient center explains everything we need from you in order to begin providing treatment. We also encourage you to become familiar with our various payment options so we can help determine which plan is right for you. From your first consultation to follow-up appointments, our team will walk you through every stage of your procedure. We understand you might have questions or concerns about what your first visit will involve. After pretesting and work-up, you will meet with one of our doctors. If you decide to undergo surgery, you will also meet with a coordinator to schedule your procedure.
Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling
In order to be respectful of the needs of all our patients, please be courteous and call the SightMD office promptly if you are unable to show up for your appointment. This allows us to offer for the time to be reallocated to someone who is in need of eye care. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we request that you call at least 24 hours in advance.
For Out-of-Town Patients
If you’re considering traveling to any of our locations to undergo surgery from our experienced ophthalmologists, please call SightMD today at 855-295-4144 to arrange a consultation. We proudly provide services to those in the areas of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania as well as those visiting or traveling from outside of these areas.
