Light Adjustable Lens® Options
For eligible patients, the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens® offers another level of personalization. Unlike a standard lens implant with a fixed prescription, the LAL can be adjusted after surgery using controlled ultraviolet light treatments, allowing the lens power to be refined as the eye heals.
Keratoconus Treatment
Keratoconus causes the cornea to become thinner and change shape over time, which can lead to distorted vision, increasing astigmatism, light sensitivity, and frequent prescription changes. Because the condition can progress, early evaluation can help our eye doctors determine whether treatment is appropriate.
Corneal Cross-Linking
Corneal cross-linking, or CXL, is an FDA-approved treatment for progressive keratoconus. The procedure uses riboflavin eye drops and ultraviolet light to strengthen the cornea and help slow further progression. It does not eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses, but it may help preserve corneal stability over time.
