Dr. Kimberly Ann Lucey, M.D., is a highly respected Ophthalmologist in Enfield, Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor of Science magma cum laude in chemistry, mathematics, and biology from Fairfield University. Subsequently, Dr. Lucey completed her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where she was a candidate for the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Lucey completed her ophthalmic residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in conjunction with the Wilmer Eye Institute, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. Notably, Dr. Lucey served as Chief Resident in her final year. A Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, she opened her practice in 1996. She is a member of the Hartford County Medical Association, the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians, the Connecticut State Medical Society, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Lucey practices general ophthalmology with a particular interest in advanced cataract surgery. She also offers astigmatism correcting and multifocal intraocular lens implants and the medical management of glaucoma. As a testament to her success, she is the frequent recipient of numerous awards and accolades.
